Henderson: A Place to Call Home

Henderson: A Place to Call Home

Henderson has been my home for more than 20 years – it’s a place to build a future. We have seen many exciting new developments in our beautiful city.  I want to continue to help our city thrive, which is why I am running for Henderson City Council Ward 3.

President John F. Kennedy said Henderson was a city of destiny. Henderson citizens raise their families here and hope for their futures to be bright. We want to continue to build Henderson responsibly and create opportunities. That’s why I’m running for Henderson City Council Ward 3. I want to continue growing our beautiful city’s future. Learn about Henderson, Nevada, and the council formed to lead our town to a bright future.

Henderson Today

Today, Henderson is the second-largest city in Nevada, known for having big-city comforts with small-town communal values. With the city’s redevelopment projects, Henderson has seen success and growth. We see opportunities for work and recreation continually rising in areas such as Water Street. I proudly support Water Street’s redevelopment and finding more ways to strengthen our local community.

Parks and Trails

Outdoor adventure is never more than just a few steps away. There are 68+ parks in Henderson, and our city has been a part of Tree City USA for over 30 years, with over 30,000 trees planted around our cherished community. Henderson parks and trails provide hiking paths, playgrounds, and splash parks. You can find a Henderson park to enjoy no matter where you are in the valley.

Supporting Our Henderson Sports Teams

Nevada sports teams provide tremendous opportunities for our local economy. Professional teams like the Vegas Golden Knights and the Henderson Silver Knights now call Henderson home. With the addition of the new Dollar Loan Center Arena, the new Night Hawks indoor football team, and our neighbor city of Las Vegas slated to host the 2024 Super Bowl, our Henderson sports community continues to thrive. These developments bring with them new possibilities for businesses to network and expand.

What You Need to Know About City Council

The City Charter established the City Council as a form of government which gives these leaders legislative power to create positive change. The Mayor and City Council support all who reside within Henderson by offering services and resources that improve their lives.

Henderson residents count on the council to prioritize infrastructure, financial sustainability, community safety, public services, and more. That’s why I’m running for Henderson City Council Ward 3. As a Henderson, Nevada council election candidate, I value Henderson’s expansion and feel we must make wise decisions for our future. Contact Vote4TrishNash.com to learn more.
